Adjunct Recruitment

Southwest Tennessee Community College often has a need for adjunct (part-time) faculty in a variety of disciplines.  Employment is based upon enrollment and departmental needs.

Below are the requirements to teach as an adjunct professor at Southwest:

Individuals wishing to teach general education courses or courses that transfer to a four-year college or university:

• Master’s degree in the field of study or a master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in the field of study

Individuals wishing to teach in career fields:

• Credentialing requirements range from an associate degree plus experience to a master’s degree (depending on the field).
