Southwest Celebrates SACSCOC Accreditation Review Process

We are thrilled to announce that Southwest has successfully completed the SACSCOC accreditation process!

To celebrate, Southwest enjoyed gatherings on each campus Oct. 3, 2024, with cake, punch, and light snacks for our amazing staff, faculty, and students.

SACSCOC thoroughly reviewed our operations and commended Southwest for our student-focused culture, noting it as exceptional. They were inspired by our dedicated staff and students and impressed with our strategic plan.

President Dr. Tracy D. Hall expressed gratitude for everyone’s hard work, emphasizing the importance of each person’s role.

A special "Thank You" goes out to the SACSCOC On-Site Visit Committee, QEP Advisory team, Celebration Planning Committee, Physical Plant, Police Services, and Marketing and Communications.
