We are proud to announce the release of "Transforming Higher Education: How Bold and Innovative Leaders Entrepreneur the Future," which features President Dr. Tracy D. Hall.

In the chapter, "Southwest Tennessee Community College: An ‘Audacious’ Redesign, Reinvent, and Reset,” authors Dr. Mary Darden and Dr. Joanna L. Kile highlight Dr. Hall's visionary leadership in transforming the student experience and advancing meaningful institutional change.

Dr. Hall led Southwest’s participation in Achieving the Dream (ATD), a national reform network, by championing a bold, large-scale systemic redesign of college processes focused on student success, from recruitment through graduation. It is an honor for Southwest to be part of this extraordinary collection of success stories, representing a diverse range of institutions, from small rural colleges to large urban universities.

We thank the book's co-authors for including Southwest in this body of work. Both are nationally respected leaders in higher education transformation.

Dr. Darden is a higher education futurist and founder of Higher Education Innovation, LLC, and the award-winning co-author of "Entrepreneuring the Future of Higher Education," which has been named one of the best higher education books of all time.

Dr. Kile is a distinguished expert in higher education leadership, workforce development, and institutional transformation, serving as CEO of Higher Education Innovation. She has earned numerous accolades, including the John and Suanne Roueche Excellence Award and prestigious Bellwether Award in Workforce Development.

Congratulations to Dr. Hall on her recognition as a bold entrepreneurial leader, and to all the distinguished leaders featured for shaping the future of higher education.
