The Industrial Process Control Technology program provides skills for those who are interested in a career as a maintenance technician or process technician. The program trains students to work as a key member of a team of people responsible for the planning, analyzing, and controlling the production of products – from the acquisition of raw material through the production and distribution of products to customers in a variety of industries.

Graduates are prepared to enter technology fields such as: Quality Control, Power Plant Operations, Maintenance, Chemical Plant Operations, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Plant and Systems Operations, and Process Control Operations.

Our degree program be completed in four (4) semesters or by completing 60 total credit hours. Our technical certificate program can be completed in two (2) semesters or by completing 23 total credit hours.
The length of time to complete this program is based on a student taking only the courses required for the program as listed in our online catalog. It does not include the cost of foundations courses that may be required based on ASSET or ACT scores, retaking courses or taking courses that are not required by your program of study.
