Pathways to Prosperity: Strategic Reform 3.0
Redefining Student Success
Southwest Tennessee Community College is proud to launch Pathways to Prosperity: Strategic Reform 3.0, a bold, future-focused 5-year strategic plan (2025-2030) designed to transform
lives. Also referred to as Reform 3.0, the plan is a redesign of how Southwest defines success for students.
This includes how we structure our systems and prepare students to complete their
academic journey to thrive long after they graduate, by providing them Pathways to
Prosperity.
A Bold Vision for Southwest Tennessee Community College
❝ Pathways to Prosperity: Reform 3.0 is a redesign of how we define success, structure
our systems, and prepare students not just to complete a program, but to thrive long
after they leave us.❞

Leaders across Southwest are dedicated to the success of the Reform 3.0 strategic plan and will monitor progress through five key Presidential Metrics:
- Increased enrollment in high-opportunity programs
- Increased high-opportunity credential completion at all levels
- Increased graduate employment in high-opportunity fields of study
- Increased attainment of family sustaining/living-wage careers
- Increased transfer into and bachelor’s degree completion in high-opportunity programs of study
