Follett Bookstore operations remain online

By Diana Fedinec

Follett Bookstore operations remain onlineDue to COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution for students, the physical locations of Southwest Tennessee Community College’s Follett Bookstore, located on the Union and Macon campuses, continue to be temporarily closed.

Bookstore operations remain online and open 24/7. To reach the bookstore for your academic needs, visit the Follett website.

New, used, digital and rental textbooks can be purchased online. For information on the rental of textbooks, click RENT-A-TEXT. Please note that not every textbook is available in all these formats.

With spring semester coming to an end, students may wish to return their rental books or sell back their books to the Follett Bookstore. Please follow the bookstore’s policies below for these transactions.

Rental Return

To return a rented book, the due date is May 11 for spring semester. Given the COVID-19 situation, the bookstore has extended the grace period to return books by ten days. Books must now be returned by May 21.

Follett has emailed a FREE FedEx return label to student email addresses who have rented textbooks. These return shipping labels should be used to return rental books. Students should check their Southwest email for free shipping labels.

For more details, see our book return FAQs with information on how to receive your FedEx return label.

Cash for Books

Cash for books is the process through which students sell back to the bookstore textbooks they purchased for use in their courses. Textbooks can be sold back to Follett online anytime at: https://www.bkstr.com/swtennesseeccmaconstore/sell-textbooks. No in-person book sales are permitted while the physical store is closed.
