Enrollment Deadlines for the Tennessee Promise Scholarship

The Tennessee Promise (TNPromise) Scholarship will provide many Tennessee May 2016 high school graduates the opportunity to attend Southwest Tennessee Community College for two years free of tuition effective fall 2016. TNPromise is both a last-dollar scholarship and mentoring program that will cover tuition and fees not covered by the Pell grant, the Hope scholarship, or the Tennessee Student Assistance Award Program (TSAA).
The enrollment period started August 17 for high school seniors and ends on November 2, 2015. Important Dates To Remember – in order for students to participate in the program, they must meet several requirements and deadlines:
- August 17 through November 2, 2015 - Apply to the Tennessee Promise program at www.tnpromise.gov/ (opens new window)
- By February 15, 2016 - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov (opens new window)
