Phishing, hacking, malware, and identity theft are just a few of the technology threats affecting corporations and individuals today. Protecting personal information is now more important than ever. On November 2 from 6-8 pm in the Bert Bornblum Library Auditorium, the Business and Technologies Division at Southwest Tennessee Community College will host the panel discussion Emerging Issues and Examinations of Technology, Law and Criminal Justice. Representatives from ServiceMaster, FedEx, Shelby County Courts and Rice, Amundsen & Caperton, PLLC, will discuss emerging trends in information technology, how to better secure your information, and the legal ramifications of cyber breaches. This event is free and open to the public.
