TNReconnect Enrollment Guide

We look forward to helping you re-enroll at Southwest. Get the ball rolling right now before you schedule a meeting with us by taking the following steps:

  • Complete an application for admission
  • Apply for TN Reconnect
  • Request your high school transcript
  • Request any and all colleges/universities/trade school transcripts
  • Complete the FAFSA. Southwest's school code is 010439.

Most transcript services will have you select Southwest, if the transcript service that you are requesting transcripts from does not, you can use the email address listed above. 

If you graduated form a MCS, SCS, or MSCS high school, (even if it has since closed down), you can request your high school transcript by using this link

If you attended a closed college/university/trade school, you can usually search for the name of the school and add transcript request to request that transcript. If you need assistance with figuring out this process, please let us know.

Once all of these steps have been completed, you can be admitted to the college. If you have been out of high school for more than 5 years, we recommend that students take a placement test. This test is called the Accuplacer Exam. You can schedule your appointment to take that exam here. You can review a sample exam here. This exam is used for placement purposes.  

After you have completed the steps above, you can meet with academic advising to register for classes.
