Your counselor prioritizes your privacy. What is said in counseling stays in counseling. Sessions are confidential.
One on One
This is your much-deserved you time. In this setting, your counselor will meet one-on-one with you providing ample time and space for sharing concerns.
Talk it Out
Need to talk? Vent? Process difficult experiences? Allow our professionally-trained mental health counselor to assist you.
Counseling is available at the Union Avenue Campus on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the Macon Cove Campus on Tuesdays and Fridays; and at our centers by appointment. Faculty or staff who wish to refer a student for counseling services should submit a referral form. Students who wish to make a counseling appointment should contact Kimberly Weddington at 901-333-5121, or kweddington@southwest.tn.edu.
