Chief of Staff Tameka Perry
The first of four department fora events was held Feb. 5, 2024, at the Maxine A. Smith Center.
The fora events are designed to help employees stay aware of what is happening across the college. At each fora session, department heads provide an overview of their department’s roles and share insight about current projects and initiatives.
February’s event was hosted by Southwest’s Institutional Advancement & Resource Development, Marketing and Communications, and the Institutional Research, Planning & Effectiveness departments.
Associate Vice President of Marketing and
Communications Jeremy Shirley
Speakers for the event were Tameka Perry, chief of staff and Jeremy Shirley, associate vice president of Marketing and Communications. Presenting virtually were Erica Hughes, associate vice president of Institutional and Accreditation Reporting and Braylin Laster associate vice president of Institutional Advancement.
Each speaker shared insights about their department’s focus followed by a Q&A session for the audience.
