Online Advising
Online advising is designed to assist the students in meeting their educational goals at Southwest. Staff are committed to helping all students select classes and degree plans that will put them on the path to success.
All emails will be answered in a timely fashion, however delays may occur on weekends and holidays and during our busier registration periods.
Guidelines
Please keep these guidelines in mind when using online advising. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), advisors cannot give out personal information such as:
- social security numbers
- financial aid information
When requesting Online Advising, please identify yourself using your Student ID number (if known) or Southwest email address. To get started with Online Advising, complete and submit the Online Advising Request data form.
