Summer Institute 2019 registration now open
The Division of Faculty Support is excited to announce registration is open for Southwest’s 17th annual Summer Institute, May 20-23 on the Macon Cove Campus.
Summer Institute is a great time for faculty and staff to learn new ways to help Southwest students succeed. Participants will receive information about what's happening in different areas of the College, attend sessions for personal and professional growth, and take some classes that are just plain fun!
Monday, May 20, will be a pre-conference, long workshop day. The sessions will range from 2.5 hours to a full day. The conference will kick-off in earnest on Tuesday with a mix of sessions for the next three days, including concurrent sessions (1.5 hours, one hour, and half-hour), roundtable discussions, and poster sessions.
For more information, email summer.institute@southwest.tn.edu or call Teaching Academy Director Dr. Jennifer Townes at (901) 333-4711.
