Adjunct Appreciation Awards go virtual

Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the Division of Academic Affairs held its first-ever virtual Adjunct Appreciation Awards May 15, 2020, in lieu of their customary awards appreciation dinner. Guests were invited to watch a pre-recorded video of the awards ceremony featuring special recognition by senior leadership.
President Dr. Tracy D. Hall thanked the faculty for all their hard work and dedication to students and for quickly adjusting to a new online teaching environment. “You are the core of what we do,” said Dr. Hall. “It does not matter if you are full-time faculty or adjunct, what our students want, and what our students need are caring faculty. And that is what they have in you. Thank you for all you do.”
Congratulations to 2020 Outstanding Adjunct of the Year Beverly Winfield Sakyi from Allied Health and all of the adjunct faculty award winners.
