Greene to serve as Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration

Effective April 1, 2021, Southwest Tennessee Community College Budget and Financial Planning Director Sherry Greene will serve as Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration. She replaces Michael Neal who departs Southwest March 31 after four years of service.
Greene brings more than 20 years of financial management in higher education to the post, 10 of which in the Tennessee Higher Education Commission system. Prior to joining Southwest in October 2019, Greene served as associate director of Financial Planning at the University of Memphis, assistant director of Budget and Accounting at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and senior financial analyst – government cost compliance at the University of Cincinnati.
She is scheduled to receive her Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis later this year.
