Students can develop leadership skills with Learning to Lead
By Diana Fedinec
Southwest students looking to hone their leadership skills can join the Tennessee Board of Regents’ free virtual leadership series, Learning to Lead. Sessions began Jan. 25 and will run through April 19.
The series includes Leadership 102 workshops offered to students in 50-minute sessions that focus on developing student leadership skills. Students can register for the student leadership sessions by 2:00 pm CST the day before the session they plan to attend.
TBR governs the College System of Tennessee’s 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology. The series is a great way to virtually meet and dialogue with fellow peers from across the state. Past recordings and upcoming sessions of the Leadership workshops, as well as guidelines for how to participate are listed on the Learning to Lead webpage
