Stan Bell returns as master of ceremonies for the 2023 Faculty and Staff Awards

at the 2023 Faculty and Staff Awards.
For the first time since the pandemic, Southwest’s department of Human Resources hosted the 2023 Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony in person at the Verties Sails Gymnasium. The gym was packed with attendees eager to celebrate their colleagues’ achievements on campus instead of virtually.
Stan Bell, legendary radio personality of Memphis, returned to emcee the event and brought the house down with his inimitable style. He was just as excited as the audience to be present in person for the festivities. “Southwest, it feels good to be back,” Bell said.
Congratulations to this year’s award winners!
Eric Perry, manager of infrastructure services, receives
the President’s Award from Dr. Tracy D. Hall.
